The assembly comprises five wires encased in a single waterproof cable, which includes power, ground, and two data signal wires, along with a drain wire for shielding against Radio Frequency Interference (RFI). This cable can be utilized to form a backbone that extends up to 100 meters. For longer setups, NMEA2000 mini cables can be used to extend the backbone while adhering to the specified maximum lengths.
