Airmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.

Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-20-L is a low-profile, Chirp-ready transducer designed for marine applications, particularly suitable for smaller boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) such as center consoles. This unit integrates a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor, providing essential data for navigation and fishing. Operating in the low-frequency band of 40 kHz to 60 kHz, it offers deep-water performance with a maximum depth capability of 762 meters (2500 feet) and a beamwidth ranging from 32� to 21�. The transducer features a 20� tilt to correct for hull deadrise between 16� and 24�, ensuring optimal echo returns. Its stainless steel housing is compatible with fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, making it a versatile option for various vessel constructions.
