Airmar SS175C-12-L 12d Tilt
Low CHIRP with No Connector
Model: SS175C-12-LAirmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.
Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. The transducer is installed almost flush to the hull and the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise by orienting the beam directly down. This assures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

The Airmar SS175C-12-L 12d Tilt Low CHIRP transducer is designed for marine applications requiring depth and water temperature data. This thru-hull unit, part number SS175C-12-L-11R, features a stainless steel housing suitable for fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement designs. It is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) in length. The transducer operates on a low-frequency band from 40 kHz to 60 kHz, providing depth performance up to 762 meters (2500 feet) with a 32 to 21 beamwidth. Its 12 tilted ceramic element corrects for hull deadrise between 8 and 15, ensuring the beam is oriented vertically for accurate depth readings. This model includes a fast-response water-temperature sensor and Airmar's Xducer ID technology, offering a robust solution for deep-water performance and data acquisition on smaller vessels.
