The high wide is the ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution and maximum coverage under the boat are essential down to 500'.

Tilted element transducers have the element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-0-HW-0 is a low-profile thru-hull transducer designed for marine applications requiring depth and water temperature sensing. It operates within a high-frequency CHIRP range of 150 kHz to 250 kHz, providing a constant 25� beamwidth. This configuration supports superior shallow water performance, enhanced bottom detail, and improved fish target separation. With a 1 kW power rating, it offers a maximum depth capability of 152 meters (500 feet).

This transducer is suitable for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) and features a stainless steel housing, making it compatible with fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement designs. The 0� tilt element is specifically for hulls with a deadrise between 0� and 7�, ensuring the ceramic element is oriented horizontally for optimal echo returns. It includes Xducer ID� technology and comes without a connector, allowing for custom integration.
