The STARTECH IES1G52UPDIN is an unmanaged industrial 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for demanding environments. It features five RJ-45 ports, with four supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE) and PoE+ standards (IEEE 802.3af/at), delivering up to 30W per port for a total power budget of 120W. This allows for direct power and data connectivity to devices like IP cameras, sensors, or Wi-Fi access points using Cat5e or better cabling. Additionally, it includes two open SFP slots for fiber optic connectivity, supporting MSA-compliant modules. The switch operates across a wide temperature range of -40C to 75C, housed in an IP-30 rated enclosure. Its rugged design, high MTBF of over 500,000 hours, and resistance to vibration, shock, and freefall make it suitable for industrial automation, smart city deployments, or remote site monitoring where reliability and resilience are critical. Mounting hardware for DIN rail or wall installation is included, along with redundant power input capabilities via a terminal block.
