It mounts over existing 8-inch openings and features an 11-inch pipe for secure through-the-wall integration. Constructed from 26-gauge, paint-grade galvanized steel, it offers durability. The design includes a spring-controlled damper to prevent backdraft when not in use, and a 1/4-inch wire mesh screen helps deter external elements. The vent is engineered for maximum airflow, providing a net-free area of 28 sq. in. with the screen in place, or 40 sq. in. if the screen is removed.
