The cable supports resolutions up to 8K (7680x4320) at 60Hz with DSC, or 4K (3840x2160) at 120Hz with DSC. Without DSC, it supports 8K at 30Hz, 4K at 60Hz, and 1080p at 240Hz. To achieve 8K resolutions, both your source and destination devices must support DisplayPort 1.4.
