LANLink NMEA 0183 Gateway for Ethernet Networks
As boating technology advances, many vessels are now equipped with wireless routers, and tools like Digital Yacht's 4G Connect enhance internet connectivity. The LANLink is a powerful NMEA 0183 to Ethernet gateway that allows seamless integration of your boat's NMEA data into your onboard router network, enabling connected devices and applications to utilize this valuable data.
Available in versions for both NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000, the LANLink features an intuitive web interface for configuration, allowing users to easily set NMEA baud rates and IP/Port information via any web browser.
It supports multiple TCP/IP connections and is bi-directional, making it easy to connect with apps such as TZ iBoat, iNavX, NavLink, iSailor, Imray, and Weather 4D by simply entering the relevant IP address and port to stream NMEA data.
The Digital Yacht LANLink NMEA 0183 Gateway facilitates the integration of NMEA 0183 data onto an existing Ethernet network. This device is designed for vessels equipped with onboard routers, enabling the distribution of NMEA 0183 data to connected devices and applications. It addresses the challenge of making marine navigation and instrument data accessible across a network, supporting up to five simultaneous TCP/IP connections. The ZDIGLANLINK gateway operates on 12/24v DC and connects via a standard RJ45 Cat 5/6 patch cable. Configuration is managed through a web interface, allowing users to set NMEA baud rates and IP/Port details. Its bi-directional capability supports various marine applications, providing a practical solution for data sharing within a vessel's IT infrastructure.
This specific version of the LANLink gateway is designed for NMEA 0183 data. A separate NMEA 2000 variant is available for that standard.
The gateway features a user-friendly web interface for configuration. Users can access this interface via any web browser to set NMEA baud rates and IP/Port information.
The LANLink NMEA 0183 Gateway operates on 12/24v DC power, making it suitable for typical marine electrical systems.
The gateway supports up to 5 connected devices when operating in TCP/IP mode, allowing multiple applications or systems to access the NMEA data concurrently.
