The 66 Block UL Secondary Surge Protector is designed for voice, fax, and modem lines with a maximum voltage of 75V. It features a 160mA PTC to efficiently protect your lines.
This surge protector includes dual indicator lights to confirm protection status and grounding connection. The solid-state design allows for single pair protection, ensuring only the lines that require safeguarding are protected.
Ideal for retrofit applications, it easily replaces existing bridging clips on the block. Installation is straightforward—simply add the ground connection to complete the setup.
The grounding requirements include field-installed solid copper wire, with recommended grounding impedance less than 0.5 Ohm. The fuse rating is 160mA with a resistance of 8-10 Ohms.
Key specifications include a clamping level of 75V, a response time of just 1-5 nanoseconds, and a capacitance of less than 50pF. It supports both metallic and longitudinal suppression modes and can accommodate 2 wires (1 pair). The termination type is 66 M Blocks.
