Ideal for retrofit applications, this device is easy to install: simply remove the bridging clips from the block, replace them with the protector, and add the ground connection. It is important to meet the grounding requirements using field-installed solid copper wire with a recommended impedance of less than 0.5 Ohm.
Additional specifications include a fuse rating of 160mA with an 8-10 Ohm rating, signal-perfect circuitry, a clamping level of 39V, a fast response time of 1-5 nanoseconds, and capacitance of less than 50pF.
This surge protector supports both metallic and longitudinal suppression modes and is designed for 2-wire, 1 pair terminations using 66 M Blocks.
