GROCO 2-1/2" Engine Flush Kit with Service Adaptor

The engine flush kit provides an efficient solution for maintaining your engine's cooling system. Featuring a quarter-turn quick-release plug, it adds safety and flexibility to any water system. You can quickly convert any seacock for emergency bilge pumping or facilitate winterization and system flushing.

Emergency Use:

In case of an emergency, close the seacock while the engine is running and detach the quick-release plug. This allows excess bilge water to be expelled by the engine's raw water pump, keeping your bilge clear.

Winterization:

To winterize your engine, close the seacock, remove the quick-release plug, and connect the included service adaptor. This lets you pump anti-freeze directly into the cooling system.

Flushing the System:

For system flushing, close the seacock, insert the service adaptor, and utilize dockside water to flush the cooling system while the engine runs at idle.
