Airmar SS175C-12-HW 12d Tilt
High Wide CHIRP with Navico 9-Pin
Model: SS175C-12-HWGet more coverage under your boat with Airmar’s unique wide beam, high frequency Chirp-ready transducers. The high band operates across a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and has a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies. The high frequency band results in superior resolution. The constant wide beamwidth provides twice the coverage under the boat and excellent fish arches on the display compared to most high frequency narrow beam transducer options.
The high wide is the ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution and maximum coverage under the boat are essential down to 500'.
Tilted element transducers have the element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-12-HW is a 1 kW thru-hull transducer designed for marine applications requiring depth and water temperature sensing. This high-wide CHIRP transducer operates across a frequency range of 150 kHz to 250 kHz, providing a constant 25 beamwidth. It offers 100 kHz of total bandwidth, covering common fishing frequencies like 200 kHz while extending coverage for superior shallow water performance, bottom detail, and fish target separation. The wide beamwidth enhances coverage under the boat, aiding in detecting fish in the upper water column. With a maximum depth capability of 152 meters (500 feet), this unit is suitable for both inshore and pelagic fishing where resolution and broad coverage are critical. The low-profile stainless steel housing is designed for installation on fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement types. It features a 12 tilted element to compensate for hull deadrise between 8 and 15, ensuring optimal echo returns. The SS175C-12-HW-9N is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) and includes a Navico 9-Pin connector.
