This tape media offers a native capacity of 2.5 TB, expandable to 6.25 TB with 2.5:1 compression. Utilizing Barium Ferrite (BaFe) particles, it is designed for long-term data retention and consistent performance. The cartridge, part number 00V7590, is compatible with IBM LTO Ultrium 6 drives, which support features like partitioning, IBM Linear Tape File System (LTFS), and data encryption. An embedded LTO Cartridge Memory (LTO-CM) Chip facilitates rapid data transfer with compatible IBM tape drives.
