The Maxwell RC10-10 is a fully automatic capstan windlass crafted from marine-grade materials, designed to effortlessly handle 8mm (5/16") to 10mm (3/8") short link chain and 14mm to 16mm (5/8") three strand or 8-brait (plait) rope. This windlass combines a sleek, low-profile design with high functionality, making it a perfect addition to any vessel.

Installation is made simple with a two-piece design, allowing for quick and easy retrofitting without the need to disassemble the unit. Its unique spacer tube design accommodates virtually any deck thickness, and the self-aligning gearbox ensures an optimal fit in various installation scenarios.

Manufactured from durable marine-grade 316 stainless steel and chromed bronze, the RC10-10 is built to last. Key features include a heavy-duty stainless steel pressure arm that securely grasps the splice between the rope and chain, and a pre-loaded spring that pivots on a trouble-free bearing, allowing for enhanced control over the rode.

The windlass operates effectively with all chain rodes, while the large through-deck hawse pipe ensures easy entry and exit of the rope/chain into the anchor locker.
