Connector Strips Installed in the Box

Molded nylon encases a pair of connector strips that secure wires through screw compression, eliminating the need for lugs. This design is ideal for electronic installations, with brass barrels capturing the wires and held in place with a stainless steel 'finger' compressed by a screw. Importantly, the screw never touches the wires, safeguarding the copper strands from damage while meeting ABYC standards.

The Newmar Power PX-3 Waterproof Junction Box is engineered for secure and reliable wiring connections in environments exposed to moisture or occasional spray. This unit is suitable for IT infrastructure, marine, or industrial applications where maintaining connection integrity is critical. It features a rugged, non-corrosive, high-impact polypropylene construction and an IP55 waterproof rating, protecting internal wiring from water jets. The junction box includes two 9-position connector strips with screw compression terminals, designed to secure wires without requiring lugs. This design prevents damage to copper strands by ensuring the screw does not directly contact the wire, meeting ABYC standards. With seven universal cut-to-fit cable entries accommodating diameters from 0.14 to 0.99 inches, and multiple knockouts for conduit access, this junction box facilitates organized and protected wiring for various cable sizes.
