1990

Thrustmaster is founded in the United States: a brand specialized in the development of high-end controllers.

Thrustmaster's teams are made up of engineers and pilots from the U.S. Air Force, Navy and NASA. The "Millennium" controller is developed under license from NASA.

1999

In the video game accessories market, Guillemot Corporation becomes one of the world leaders in racing wheels and controllers for PCs with the acquisition of the Peripherals and Accessories division of the American Thrustmaster® group.

The first replica of a Ferrari® racing wheel is created: the FERRARI 360 MODENA racing wheel.

2000

The Firestorm® range of controllers is marketed under the Guillemot brand; it features a timelessly unique and customized shape.

2001

Thrustmaster participates in the famous E3 trade show in Los Angeles for the first time.

The very first products that allow users to use their bodies to manipulate the game, providing unique interactivity–and total immersion–are unveiled: the Freestyler Board (surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding), Freestyler Bike (bike/motorcycle racing) and Fightingarena (combat) peripherals.

2002

The Thrustmaster HOTAS COUGAR™ controller is launched; it is a replica of the flight controls of the legendary F-16 fighter jet, developed in partnership with the U.S. Air Force.

The first Ferrari F1 racing wheel, inspired by the racing wheel used by Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, is released.

The Tacticalboard, a keyboard with a unique personalized design, aimed at experienced players, is released in stores.

The first controller for the Nintendo ® GameCube game system is released.

2003
