With a 35-year history in the construction business, Pat Minnite, Sr. began his own commercial real estate development company, The PM Company, in 1980. Since then the company has experienced substantial growth and Mr. Minnite has continued to establish several other successful real estate development business entities. These companies specialize in medical and professional office buildings and commercial and retail complexes in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Belpre, Ohio, and the surrounding area.PMC has developed nearly a million square feet of rental properties in West Virginia and Ohio, meeting the needs of over 200 professional and retail tenants. The company has become known for adaptability u2013 whether the client needs an existing space remodeled, or a new space created, PMC finds a way to meet and exceed expectations. In October of 2006, Mr. Minnite was named Citizen of the Year by Ohio Valley University for his life-long commitment to the local community, and in 2014, the company received the Community Involvement award from the Mid-Ohio Valley Chamber of Commerce.The PM Company is a family business, with Mr. Minniteu2019s three children now managing every aspect of operations.
