When Contex was originally founded in 1923, the company designed and manufactured printing machines, mechanical and electronic calculators and electrostatic copiers, which were sold worldwide under the names Rex-Rotary and Gestetner. But the world changes – and so do we. By the early 1980s, Contex had evolved into what it is today – the market leader in large format scanning. Our long and diverse history has more than improved the scanning technology we use today – it has helped improve millions of people’s workflow.
