The Towermax Digital Station Protector is designed to safeguard your telecommunication equipment from surges. It protects one 8-wire (4-pairs) connection using RJ45 connectors or two 4-wire (2-pairs) connections using RJ11/45 connectors.
Featuring Auto-Resetting Technology, the PTC resistors automatically open during a surge to provide protection and then close again once the surge is no longer present. This means no need for manual replacement like with traditional fuses.
This expandable modular system is perfect for applications involving Digital PBX or KSU systems. It adheres to UL 497A (Secondary) agency approval and requires a grounding configuration to be effective.
Key specifications include a clamping level of 70V and 110V, a response time of just 1-5 nanoseconds, and suppression modes for metallic and longitudinal surges. The product ensures optimal performance with a capacitance of less than 50pF.
