The CAT6 Surge Protector is designed to safeguard high-performance 4-pair Cat6 outside plant cables, as well as Cat6 UTP cables used for voice or ISDN applications, rated for 235V. It features a 110 punchdown in/out connection, ensuring easy installation and connectivity.
This protector is built with advanced technology to provide reliable circuit protection with a recommended grounding impedance of less than 0.5 Ohm. Its signal-perfect circuitry ensures minimal interference and optimal performance, while the incorporated fused clamping level of 235V protects against voltage spikes. With a response time between 1-5 nanoseconds and a capacitance of less than 5pF, it is engineered for efficiency and safety.
Additionally, the protector offers both metallic and longitudinal suppression modes, allowing for comprehensive coverage of connected equipment. The system can be further expanded as needed using SurgeGate Modules to increase protection capabilities.
