Maxwell's HRC10 is a significant advancement in performance and anchor handling. This fully automatic horizontal windlass is designed for vessels up to 16 meters (52') that require above-deck installation.
The HRC10 accommodates 5/8" rope and 3/8" chain, including a robust rope-to-chain splice. Its modern yet classic appearance incorporates innovative design features that surpass competitors.
Fitted with Maxwell's unique Wave Design™ chainwheel, the rope/chain wheel includes advancements that significantly improve the handling and control of spliced rode. The design enhances the entry of both rope and chain during anchor retrieval.
As the rope feeds into the wheel, opposing inner ribs grip the rope in a wave pattern, securing it more effectively than traditional methods, increasing the longevity of your anchor rode.
