Constructed from white fiberglass with a 1-1/2" diameter, this 95" (8-foot) mast is finished to match Shakespeare Galaxy antennas. Its primary function is to elevate an antenna, which can improve effective signal range by overcoming on-board obstructions or simply increasing the antenna's vertical placement. This product is suitable for IT professionals and marine operators managing communication systems on vessels or in similar environments where antenna positioning is critical for reliable signal transmission and reception. It features stainless steel upper and lower ferrules with a standard 1" - 14 thread for secure mounting. Users should note that if the total length of the antenna and all extensions exceeds 8 feet, an upper support bracket is required for proper installation. A Style 409-R or 410-R Mounting Kit is also necessary for deployment.
