The Ritchie HB-845 Helmsman Steel Boat Compass is a bracket-mount navigation instrument designed for marine applications. It features a 3 3/4-inch open face dial and is constructed with a hardened steel pivot and sapphire jewel movement for durability and accuracy. This compass includes a special reinforced bracket with quadrantal correctors and built-in standard compensators and booster magnets on the base, which aid in maintaining directional stability. For visibility in varying light conditions, it incorporates 45-degree lubber lines and exclusive built-in green NiteVu lighting, standard with 12v. A movable sun shield is also included to reduce glare. The unit is 100% repairable and comes with a 5-year Ritchie warranty, making it suitable for professional maritime use where reliable navigation is critical.
