The Ritchie SS-1002W SuperSport Compass is a flush-mount navigation instrument designed for marine applications, particularly offshore race boats. It features a 3-3/4" PowerDamp Plus, high-visibility blue open face dial with large white numerals, intended to reduce oscillation and provide quick heading lock-on via DirectiveForce magnets. Installation requires a 4" (10.16 cm) mounting hole. This compass includes built-in compensators for deviation adjustment and internal gimbal systems to maintain stability during vessel movement. For low-light conditions, it incorporates built-in 12v green LED lighting within a movable sun shield. The unit is 100% repairable and comes with a 5-year Ritchie warranty.
