The EnGenius DURAFON-SIP-HC is an additional cordless SIP handset designed for expanding existing DuraFon-SIP systems. This ruggedized handset is suitable for business environments requiring reliable, extended-range communication across large facilities or properties. It addresses communication challenges in settings such as warehouses, manufacturing plants, campuses, or agricultural operations where standard DECT or Wi-Fi phones may lack sufficient coverage.
Key features include up to 12 floors of in-building penetration, 250,000 sq. ft. of facility coverage, and 3,000 acres of open land coverage. The handset supports independent 2-way intercom and a "Push-to-Talk" (PTT) broadcast feature, facilitating quick team communication. It operates on the 902-928 MHz frequency band and is compatible with any IP-PBX that supports the standard SIP protocol. The included 3.7V, 1700 mAh Li-ion battery provides approximately 6 hours of talk time and 50 hours of standby time, with a full charge achieved in about 4 hours.
This product is a handset only, designed as an additional unit for an existing EnGenius DuraFon-SIP system. It includes the handset with a rugged design and a low-profile 1.5dBi antenna, along with a 3.7V, 1700 mAh Li-ion battery.

This handset works with any IP-PBX that supports the standard SIP protocol. The base unit (not included with this handset) supports up to 4 concurrent calls (4 SIP or 3 SIP + 1 PSTN).
The included 3.7V, 1700 mAh Li-ion battery provides approximately 6 hours of talk time and 50 hours of standby time. A full charge from empty takes about 4 hours at 500 mA.
