The DRS4DL+ is a compact 19" dome radar sensor designed for use with NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2 systems. This 4kW radar features a 5.2-degree horizontal beamwidth and presents navigators with crystal-clear target detection using advanced digital signal processing. Establishing a wired connection with NavNet TZtouch and TZtouch2 ensures simple installation through a single-wire solution with the TZTL12F/15F units.
With a fixed spinning rate of 24 RPM, the DRS4DL+ provides versatile range scales from 1/8 nm to 36 nm, making it ideal for various navigational needs. While designed specifically for the TZtouch series, it's important to note that this radar is not compatible with NavNet 3D systems.
Equipped with the capability for Fast Target Tracking (TT) and ARPA, the DRS4DL+ can manually or automatically acquire and track up to 10 targets* efficiently. As soon as a target is selected, speed and course vectors are swiftly displayed, enabling accurate assessment of other vessels' movements.
*A heading sensor is required for tracking functionality.
