Improved in almost all aspects, DRS25AX "X-Class" Radar features improved short range detection, as well as an impressive long range detection of up to 96 nautical miles.
The newly redesigned pedestal unit is 20% lighter than previous models and features an updated motor for significantly lower noise levels. Combined with an updated smart-connector cable, installation and maintenance is simpler than ever before.
Fast Target Tracking™ function adopted from our commercial Radar FAR3000, is also available on the DRS25AX "X-Class." Target course and speed vectors are displayed instantly with the press of a button. Target vectors increase situational awareness and can increase overall safety on your vessel.

The Furuno DRS25AX/6 is a 25kW X-Band Radar system designed for marine applications, featuring a 6-foot antenna and a 15-meter cable. This unit provides enhanced target detection capabilities across both short and long ranges, with a minimum detection range of 20 meters and a maximum range of 96 nautical miles. It is suitable for vessels requiring robust radar performance and improved situational awareness. The system incorporates Fast Target Tracking technology, which displays target course and speed vectors to aid in navigation and safety. The DRS25AX/6 is a 24V DC system and requires a converter for 12V power systems. Its redesigned pedestal unit is 20% lighter than previous models and features a low-noise motor, simplifying installation and reducing total costs by not requiring a separate PSU. This radar is compatible with Furuno NavNet TZtouch and NavNet TZtouch2 systems.
The DRS25AX/6 is compatible with Furuno NavNet TZtouch and NavNet TZtouch2 systems. It is not compatible with NavNet 3D or earlier NavNet models.
The box includes the scanner unit, a fuse (ATV10A60V), four corrosion-proof pads, eight M12 hex nuts, four M12 spring washers, four M12 flat washers, four M12x70 hex studs, an installation manual, a mounting template, an environmental data sheet, a 15-meter signal/power cable assembly, and the XN13A/6 6-foot antenna.
The DRS25AX/6 operates on a 24V DC input voltage. If your vessel uses a 12V power system, a converter will be required for operation.
With the included 6-foot antenna, the horizontal beam width of the DRS25AX/6 is 1.4 degrees. Optional 3.5-foot and 4-foot antennas would result in 2.3 and 1.9 degrees, respectively.
