This small snubber hook is made from 5/16" T-316 stainless steel and offers versatility for anchoring. The "Captain Hook" Chain Snubber can be utilized in several ways to enhance your boating experience:

• Relieve tension on your windlass while anchored by snubbing the chain overboard and securing it to a cleat or samson post.
• Use the snubber on deck for added security, holding the chain in your anchor roller and tying it off on a cleat while underway.
• Mitigate windlass tension by attaching the snubber to the anchor roller chain and securing it tightly.

This product includes an eye splice with a 3-strand nylon line for additional convenience. Always ensure the bitter end of the anchor chain is secured in the windlass during use.
