Product Overview

Airmar B75C-12-M 12d Tilt Medium CHIRP with Navico 9-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable

Model: B75C-12-M-9N
  • Depth & fast-response water-temperature sensor
  • Medium—CHIRPS from 80 kHz to 130 kHz, 24° to 16° beamwidth
  • Hull Type: Fiberglass or wood
  • 50 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer
  • Covers popular fishing frequencies of 88 and 107 kHz plus everything else in the bandwidth
  • Bronze transducer housing
  • Boat Size: Up to 8 m (25’)
  • Exclusive Xducer ID® technology

Airmar’s low-profile, Chirp-ready, transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. Operating at a frequency range of 80 to 130 kHz, the B75M delivers up to 50 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation. This transducer shows amazing bottom detail in shallow and medium depths down to 274 m (900').

When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise, orienting the beam directly down. This ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

Expert Overview

The Airmar B75C-12-M is a bronze, through-hull transducer designed for marine applications, providing both depth and fast-response water temperature sensing. This unit operates within the Medium CHIRP frequency band, specifically from 80 kHz to 130 kHz, offering 50 kHz of total bandwidth. It features a 12-degree tilt angle to compensate for hull deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees, ensuring the beam is oriented directly downwards for accurate readings. The transducer is suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls and is recommended for boats up to 8 meters (25 feet) in length. With a 600W power rating, it can provide bottom detail in depths up to 274 meters (900 feet). The B75C-12-M-BB is supplied with a 9-meter (30-foot) cable and is intended for IT buyers supporting marine electronics installations where reliable depth and temperature data are required for smaller vessels.
