45mm Triple Element Block with Swivel
Element blocks introduce sideplates that combine forged aluminum and compound curves for strength. They are simultaneously contemporary and very robust. Element’s design pairs the minimum amount of metal required to protect the sheave with a proven journal bearing. So size for size, Element is priced significantly lower, than our previously least expensive blocks.
Sideplates are hardcoat-anodized to resist corrosion. A tough composite bearing sheave resists corrosion for a long service life.
Specifications:
The Harken 45mm Triple Element Block with Swivel, part number 6240, is a hardware component designed for applications requiring line redirection and load management. It features 45mm sheaves and a swivel mechanism for flexible orientation. The block's construction incorporates forged aluminum sideplates with a hardcoat-anodized finish for corrosion resistance, paired with a composite bearing sheave intended for long-term durability in demanding environments. This product is suitable for IT buyers and businesses that integrate specialized mechanical components into their systems, particularly those involved in rigging, material handling, or custom machinery where reliable load bearing up to 1050kg (2315lb) is critical. It addresses the need for a robust, corrosion-resistant block capable of handling lines up to 12mm (1/2in) in diameter.
The Harken 45mm Triple Element Block with Swivel is designed to work with lines up to a maximum diameter of 12mm (1/2in).
The block features sideplates made from forged aluminum with a hardcoat-anodized finish for corrosion resistance. It also includes a tough composite bearing sheave.
This block has a maximum working load of 1050kg (2315lb) and a breaking load of 2100kg (4630lb).
