The iAISTX Plus is designed for modern boaters who rely on tablets for navigation. This Class B transponder transmits your vessel's position and identity to other AIS-equipped ships while providing a wireless interface for apps on iOS and Android devices to display incoming AIS data.

In addition, the PLUS model features a NMEA 2000 interface with an integrated drop cable, allowing seamless connection to contemporary plotters, instruments, and multifunction displays for enhanced AIS functions.

Establishing a secure, password-protected local Wi-Fi network, the iAISTX Plus transmits AIS and GPS data to popular navigation apps like Navionics, iSailor, and iNavX, providing real-time overlays of AIS targets with details such as identity, CPA (Closest Point of Approach), and TCPA (Time to Closest Point of Approach).

Programming the iAISTX Plus involves a one-time setup of your boat's identity via a simple embedded web interface accessible through any browser. The installation process is straightforward—connect power, mount the included external GPS antenna, and connect to a dedicated VHF antenna or existing one using compatible AIS-VHF antenna splitters.
