X8-CABASA-AW-S - X8 Drums Cabasa, Small

This modern take on the traditional beaded gourd instrument features a stainless steel shell surrounded by steel-beaded chains for a powerful, sizzling sound and added durability. It's very responsive, with bright-sounding rattles, shakes and scrapes that can create incredibly intricate rhythmic effects. While it's an essential instrument for Latin jazz, its uses are limited only by the imagination. This cabasa comes in three different sizes, with smaller models producing softer sounds with more play, and the larger models producing louder, brighter tones.
