NMEA2000 Cable - 10M
WeatherStation cables are available in four versions: NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, combined NMEA 0183 and 2000, and Furuno NMEA 0183. All cables have a round white connector at one end that fits into the base of a weather station.
NMEA 2000 cables end in a standard male NMEA 2000 5-Pin connector. If the cable is longer than 6 meters, it contains a built-in termination resistor and is intended to be used as an extension of the network backbone.
NMEA 0183 cables end in an Airmar 8-Pin connector (CX-128) which can be removed if necessary.
Combined cables end in an Airmar 8-Pin connector and are supplied with an Airmar splitter box that has NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 output ports.
Furuno cables end in a 7-Pin Furuno connector and are designed to plug into Furuno NMEA 0183 equipment.
With NMEA 2000 output only. End in a standard male 5-Pin NMEA 2000 connector.
The Airmar NMEA2000 Cable - 10M (WS2-C10) is a specialized networking cable designed for integrating Airmar WeatherStation devices into an NMEA 2000 network. This 10-meter cable facilitates data transmission for marine and other environmental monitoring applications. It is suitable for IT professionals and system integrators responsible for setting up or extending NMEA 2000 networks in commercial vessels, research platforms, or industrial settings where reliable weather data is critical. The cable features a round white connector for the WeatherStation base and a standard male 5-pin NMEA 2000 connector for network integration. Given its length, this cable includes a built-in termination resistor, allowing it to function as an extension of the NMEA 2000 network backbone. This design simplifies network architecture by reducing the need for external termination components for longer cable runs.
This cable features a round white connector at one end, designed to fit into the base of an Airmar WeatherStation.
The cable terminates in a standard male NMEA 2000 5-pin connector for integration into an NMEA 2000 network.
No, this 10-meter cable contains a built-in termination resistor. It is designed to be used as an extension of the network backbone without requiring an additional external terminator.
No, this specific cable is designed for NMEA 2000 output only. Other Airmar cable versions are available for NMEA 0183 or combined NMEA 0183 and 2000 applications.
