The VERACITY VOR-ORM OUTREACH Max is a switch module designed to extend the reach of Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) installations. This unit allows IT professionals and network installers to deploy IP cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE-powered network devices beyond standard cable length limitations. It addresses the practical challenge of device placement by enabling greater flexibility in network design without requiring local power sources for connected devices. The module supports both 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX Ethernet, operating in full or half-duplex with auto-negotiation. It is compatible with IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at (2-event) PoE Plus standards, ensuring broad compatibility with various powered devices. Each VOR-ORM unit extends the LAN and PoE by 100 meters, making it suitable for extending network infrastructure in commercial or industrial environments where device location is critical.
