Constructed from heavy gauge stainless steel, the K-1900-8 features a durable metal Touch Tone keypad, an armored cable, a robust handset, and an all-metal cradle. It is easily programmable at the shop or installation site, with all settings stored in non-volatile memory.

For outdoor and harsh environments, the EWP (Enhanced Weather Protection) version offers added features such as faceplate gaskets, hand soldered silicon-sealed connections, gel-filled butt connectors, and a urethane potted circuit board for enhanced durability. The field-adjustable trim pots and DIP switches provide convenient on-site programming options.
