Viking Electronics VK-E-50-PB-EWP Brass Video Intercom with Wide View Camera

The Brass Video Intercom features a built-in high-resolution color video camera that supports wide viewing and tilt/swivel adjustments. It operates efficiently in a wide temperature range of -30°F to 150°F, ensuring reliable performance in various environments.

Audio and video are transmitted over a single CAT5E cable, providing a compact design akin to a standard single-gang midsize wall plate. This intercom can be flush mounted in a single-gang electrical box (dimensions of 2.25" deep x 2.00" wide x 2.84" tall minimum) or surface-mounted using a compatible Viking model VE-3x5 (not included).

The product comes in five attractive faceplate finishes: Brushed Stainless Steel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Brass, Satin White, and Satin Black. Replacement faceplates (PNL-50) with matching screws are available in all standard finishes.

Additionally, the intercom is designed with vandal-resistant features including a 16-gauge polished brass faceplate or an 18-gauge 304 stainless steel option, a 316 stainless steel push button, and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic speaker screen. The camera lens is both impact and scratch resistant, complemented by a scratch-resistant powder coating.

Weather-resistant characteristics include a Mylar speaker, faceplate gasket, microphone and speaker gaskets, an IP67 sealed push button switch, a sealed camera lens, and a potted camera circuit board. All mounting hardware is stainless steel and features UV stable weather-resistant powder coating.

Controls for microphone and speaker volume are provided, along with programmable intelligent call progress detection for automatic hang-up on CPC, silence, busy signals, or timeouts. Users can choose a selectable auto-answer feature for monitoring and benefit from programmable VOX (mic/speaker) switching speed. A blue LED assists in locating the push button, indicating ringing and off-hook status.
