The E-1600-40-IP is a state-of-the-art emergency phone designed for reliable communication in challenging environments. It features automatic polling and programming software, 2 Amp relay contacts to control compatible devices such as the SL-2 Strobe Light or LV-1K Line Verification Panel. With a red 'Call Connected' LED indicator, SIP compliance, and PoE power supply, this unit ensures seamless operation.
Additional features include automatic noise canceling for optimal performance in noisy settings, VoIP audio detection, and network-downloadable firmware. It supports handsfree operation while meeting ADA requirements for emergency phones by automatically lighting the 'Call Connected' LED and transmitting a unique location ID code or voice announcement.
The device comes with a grade 2 Braille label, a non-volatile digital voice announcer with up to 28 seconds of voice memory, and programmable dialing for up to 5 numbers. It can cycle through backup phone numbers and hang up on busy signals or via touch-tone commands. The unit also includes remote programmability, diagnostics for testing the microphone and speaker, and operates within an extended temperature range of -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C). With Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP), this emergency phone is designed to meet the IP66 Ingress Protection Rating.
