The VALCOM VIP-PC3 is a VoIP phone adapter designed for business and IT environments requiring integrated paging solutions. This device facilitates paging across various phone system connections, including FXS, PABX station extension, loop start trunk ports, standard telephones, and SIP. It supports wideband HD voice, enhancing speech intelligibility for critical announcements. The VIP-PC3 can simultaneously multicast to IP endpoints and provide line-level output for analog endpoints, offering versatility for existing infrastructure. It is compatible with Valcom 45 OHM, 25 Volt, or Valcom Self-Amplified Speakers and includes a background music input. The unit features override audio and controls, flexible mounting options (rack-mount or wall-mount), and access to one dry contact closure input, expandable with a license upgrade. Zone capabilities are expandable via the network by joining multiple units for 12 or 18 zones, addressing the needs of organizations with growing or complex paging requirements.
