Professional Red 2" Water Temp (100 to 250° F)
Perimeter-lighted black dial with stylish Red and White graphics, Black aluminum bezel, tear- drop White pointer, and flat glass lens.
A temperature gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauges's meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. The resistance of the sending units increase or decrease with the changes in pressure, temperature, ect.
As the sender's resistance varies, the amount of current allowed to flow through it to ground changes and the meter deflects, showing the temperature.

The Faria Beede Instruments Professional Red 2" Water Temperature Gauge is designed for monitoring water temperature within a range of 100 to 250 F. This analog sensor operates by detecting changes in resistance from a sending unit, which then translates to a meter deflection indicating temperature. It features a 2-inch black dial with red and white graphics, a black aluminum bezel, and a white tear-drop pointer. The flat glass lens is anti-fog and scratch-resistant, suitable for environments where clear visibility is critical. With a dual scale for both Imperial and Metric readings, this gauge is intended for integration into systems requiring precise temperature oversight. The VCT 14604 gauge is sold individually and has a hole size requirement of 2.0625" (53mm), making it suitable for various panel installations where reliable temperature data is necessary for operational awareness.
