The Valcom GPS Master Clock is designed to provide precise timekeeping with high reliability. Featuring 8 Channel technology, this microprocessor-based clock ensures immediate startup and synchronization to UTC within 500 nanoseconds. In cases of signal loss, a temperature-controlled time base maintains calibration during temperature fluctuations.
This master clock interfaces directly with Valcom analog and digital clock systems and is capable of operating as a master for Valcom 2-wire digital systems. It offers an auxiliary circuit for once-a-day relay closure with exact second resolution, and can be field programmed via two switches with two levels of programming for technicians and end users.
With a 10-year battery backup for timekeeping, the Valcom GPS Master Clock includes one programmable signal duration per circuit (1 - 99 seconds), allowing seamless integration with other systems. Its diagnostic mode facilitates maintenance and troubleshooting from the master clock.
The clock features an LED display, Valcom digital inputs and outputs, and is rack mountable. It is FCC approved and proudly made in the U.S.A. To enhance functionality with Valcom wireless clocks, a V-WMCR wireless master clock repeater is recommended. For use with Valcom wired clocks (2-wire correction), the V-VCU 6-Amp 2-wire clock drivers may be added as necessary. The system includes a 6-foot power cord, dome antenna, and a 75-foot RG-59 cable.
