The Bogen TPU35B is a 35-watt paging amplifier designed for telephone paging applications in business environments. This unit facilitates clear voice announcements by providing signal-activated automatic muting of background music during a telephone page, with a gradual return of music afterward. It features three distinct inputs: one for telephone systems, one for a low-impedance microphone, and one auxiliary input. The telephone input includes Automatic Level Control (ALC) to maintain a consistent page announcement level, while the music input can be muted via external contact closure or telephone input activity. The amplifier offers separate volume controls for microphone paging, background music, and a built-in night ringer, which can be activated by a 90V ring signal or external contact closure. With 25V and 70V constant voltage outputs, both balanced and unbalanced, the TPU35B is suitable for integrating into existing paging infrastructure. Its wall-mount design minimizes protrusion, and it can be rack-mounted with an optional kit.
The amplifier supports three inputs: one 600-ohm balanced TEL input, one Lo-Z MIC input for a push-to-talk microphone, and one Hi-Z AUX input for background music.
