Airmar TM265C Low/Medium CHIRP Transom Mount Transducer with Mix-N-Match Plug
Model: TM265C-LM-MMRely on Airmar's new broadband transducers for the ultimate fishing mission! Whether you're a commercial fisherman, charter captain, or tournament angler, there's a new game in town. Traditional marine fish finders operate at discreet frequencies such as 50 kHz and 200 kHz, use relatively short-duration pulses, and use narrowband sonar transducers. In contrast, Chirp uses a precise sweep pattern of many frequencies within a long-duration transmit pulse from a broadband transducer, so the equivalent sound energy transmitted into the water is 10 to 1,000 times greater than a conventional marine fish finder.
Specifically designed for small boats (25 feet-40 feet), the TM265LH Chirps across the following bandwidths:

The Airmar TM265C-LM-MM is a 1kW transom-mount CHIRP transducer designed for marine depth and temperature sensing. It operates across two frequency bands: low frequency from 42 to 65 kHz, with a maximum depth capability of 914 meters (3000 feet), and medium frequency from 85 to 135 kHz, supporting depths up to 457 meters (1500 feet). This transducer provides 73 kHz of total bandwidth, covering common fishing frequencies like 50, 88, and 107 kHz. Its Mix-N-Match plug system offers installation flexibility. Constructed with a SEALCAST seamless urethane housing and a stainless steel bracket, it is suitable for various boat propulsion types. The TM265C-LM-MM is intended for commercial fishermen, charter captains, and tournament anglers requiring detailed underwater imaging for deep to mid-depth applications, particularly on boats ranging from 25 to 40 feet.
The transducer has a maximum depth capability of 914 meters (3000 feet) in the low-frequency band (42-65 kHz) and 457 meters (1500 feet) in the medium-frequency band (85-135 kHz).
The box includes the TM265C-LM-MM transducer unit and the necessary transom mount hardware for installation.
This transducer is specifically designed for small boats, typically ranging from 25 feet to 40 feet in length, and is compatible with all propulsion types due to its transom mount design.
The low frequency (42-65 kHz) has a port-starboard beamwidth of 25 to 16 degrees, while the medium frequency (85-135 kHz) has a beamwidth of 16 to 11 degrees.
