The P79S elevates your boating experience by providing advanced depth intelligence directly to your onboard network. Utilizing Airmar’s innovative Smart Sensor technology, it processes and transmits depth data seamlessly across multiple displays.

The sensor comes with a rugged plastic mounting base that aligns with the centerline of the hull and is secured inside using non-toxic antifreeze. This design allows for optimal transducer placement and ensures an accurate depth reading, as it delivers sonar signals straight down for enhanced echo returns. Ideal for smaller boats up to 8 m (25') with solid fiberglass hulls, the P79S has no protruding features, making it an excellent option for trailered and lifted vessels.

Airmar's proprietary Smart Sensors contain embedded microelectronics, minimizing distance between the transducer element and signal processor. The efficient design only requires a single cable connection to a compatible network or display. Choose between an analog sensor or a digital Smart Sensor that outputs NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 formatted data.
