Airmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.

Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-20-L is a 1 kW low CHIRP transducer designed for marine depth and water-temperature sensing. It operates within a low-frequency band of 40 kHz to 60 kHz, providing deep-water performance up to 762 meters (2500 feet) with a beamwidth ranging from 32� to 21�. This model, part number SS175C-20-L-0, features a 20� tilt to correct for hull deadrise between 16� and 24�, ensuring optimal echo returns. Its stainless steel housing is suitable for fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement types. With a weight of 2.7 kg and requiring a 98 mm (3-7/8") hole for installation, it is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) and incorporates Airmar's Xducer ID� technology.
