Airmar SS175C-20-HW 20d Tilt
High Wide CHIRP wIth Si-Tex 8-Pin
Model: SS175C-20-HWGet more coverage under your boat with Airmar’s unique wide beam, high frequency Chirp-ready transducers. The high band operates across a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and has a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies. The high frequency band results in superior resolution. The constant wide beamwidth provides twice the coverage under the boat and excellent fish arches on the display compared to most high frequency narrow beam transducer options.
The high wide is the ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution and maximum coverage under the boat are essential down to 500'.
Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-20-HW is a thru-hull CHIRP transducer designed for IT and marine electronics professionals equipping vessels up to 11 meters (36 feet). This unit provides depth and fast-response water temperature sensing. Operating in the high-frequency band from 150 kHz to 250 kHz, it maintains a constant 25 beamwidth, offering 100 kHz of total bandwidth. This frequency range supports superior shallow water performance, enhanced bottom detail, and improved fish target separation, with a maximum depth capability of 152 meters (500 feet). The wide beamwidth increases coverage under the boat, which can be beneficial for detecting fish in the upper water column. The low-profile stainless steel housing is suitable for fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement types, and accommodates hull deadrises from 16 to 24. The SS175C-20-HW-BB also features Xducer ID technology and is designed to correct for hull deadrise upon installation, orienting the ceramic element horizontally for optimal echo returns.
