Airmar SS175C-20-HW 20d Tilt
High Wide CHIRP with Garmin 12-Pin
Model: SS175C-20-HWGet more coverage under your boat with Airmar’s unique wide beam, high frequency Chirp-ready transducers. The high band operates across a frequency range of 150 to 250 kHz and has a fixed 25° beam for all frequencies. The high frequency band results in superior resolution. The constant wide beamwidth provides twice the coverage under the boat and excellent fish arches on the display compared to most high frequency narrow beam transducer options.
The high wide is the ideal choice for both inshore and pelagic fishing, where resolution and maximum coverage under the boat are essential down to 500'.
Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-20-HW is a thru-hull CHIRP transducer designed for marine applications requiring detailed depth and water temperature data. This unit operates across a high-frequency range of 150 kHz to 250 kHz, maintaining a constant 25-degree beamwidth. This configuration provides 100 kHz of total bandwidth, enhancing target separation and bottom detail, particularly in shallow water environments. The wide beam offers increased coverage under the boat, which can be beneficial for detecting fish in the upper water column.
With a 1 kW power rating, the transducer supports a maximum depth of 152 meters (500 feet). Its low-profile stainless steel housing is suitable for fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement designs, and it accommodates hull deadrises from 16 to 24 degrees. The SS175C-20-HW-12G is equipped with a Garmin 12-pin connector and is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) in length. This product is intended for IT and marine professionals seeking reliable underwater data acquisition.
