Airmar SS175MW Medium Ultra-Wide 12 deg Tilted Element™ Thru-Hull - With MMC-8 Garmin 8-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable
Model: SS175C-12-MW-8GAIRMAR’s innovative transducer designs have revolutionized the fishing world, and they continue to do so with the NEW Chirp-ready SS175 Medium Ultra-Wide (MW) Tilted Element™ Thru-hull transducer. The SS175MW takes transducer design and performance to a whole new level by using medium frequency (60-100 kHz) with an incredible ultra-wide beamwidth ranging from 57-73° port-starboard to 16° average fore-aft. Maximum coverage under the boat is achieved with this medium-frequency transducer, serving anglers who target pelagic species in the upper water column.
Airmar’s new Medium Ultra-Wide models are perfect for seeking deeper species with a frequency band from 60-100 kHz. When paired with our other popular models such as the B275LHW, provides the angler with a broad set of frequencies (Low, Medium-Wide, High-Wide) to interrogate targets from deep to shallow.
The SS175MW Tilted Element Thru-hull is a 1 kW transducer housed in one of AIRMAR’s most popular Tilted Element housings which includes a ceramic element fixed at a 20°, 12° or 0° angle. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element vertically to ensure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-12-MW 12-degree Tilted Element Thru-Hull transducer is designed for marine applications requiring depth and water temperature sensing. This 1 kW unit operates on a medium CHIRP frequency range of 60-100 kHz, providing 40 kHz of total bandwidth. It is suitable for vessels up to 11 meters (36 feet) in length and can track depth down to 400 meters (1,300 feet).
This transducer features a fixed 12-degree tilted element, intended for hulls with a deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees, ensuring proper vertical orientation for optimal echo returns. The ultra-wide beamwidth, ranging from 57 to 73 degrees port/starboard and 16 degrees average fore/aft, offers broad coverage for identifying targets in the upper water column. The SS175C-12-MW-8G includes an MMC-8 Garmin 8-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable, facilitating integration with compatible Garmin systems. Its low-profile, thru-hull stainless steel housing is designed for all hull materials.
This transducer features a fixed 12-degree tilted element, designed for hulls with a deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees. The product specifications also state a maximum deadrise angle of 24 degrees.
The box includes the SS175C-12-MW-MM Medium CHIRP 12-degree Tilted Element transducer and an MMC-8 Garmin 8-Pin Mix-N-Match Cable.
This transducer is suitable for vessels up to 11 meters (36 feet) in length, made from all hull materials. Its medium frequency and ultra-wide beamwidth are designed for anglers targeting pelagic species in the upper water column, offering superior mid-depth performance and fish-target separation.
The medium frequency beamwidth is 57 to 73 degrees (Port/Starboard) by 16 degrees average (Fore/Aft).
