Airmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.

Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. The transducer is installed almost flush to the hull and the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise by orienting the beam directly down. This assures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

The Airmar SS175C-12-L-HB is a 1 kW thru-hull transducer designed for marine applications requiring depth and water temperature data. This model features a 12-degree tilted element, suitable for hulls with an 8 to 15-degree deadrise, ensuring the beam is oriented directly downwards for accurate readings. It operates on a low CHIRP frequency band of 40 kHz to 60 kHz, providing a beamwidth of 32 to 21 degrees and a maximum depth performance of 762 meters (2500 feet). The stainless steel housing is compatible with fiberglass, wood, or metal hulls, including stepped, planing, or displacement designs. This transducer is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) and includes a Humminbird 9-pin connector for direct integration. Its low-profile design and deep-water performance capabilities make it suitable for smaller vessels such as center consoles, where precise deep-water tracking is required.
