Model: SS175C-12-LAirmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The low frequency band is the deep water performer delivering excellent coverage and tracking in deeper depths. The SS175L transducer delivers up to 20 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation and delivers tremendous deep water performance.
Tilted element transducers have the ceramic element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. The transducer is installed almost flush to the hull and the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise by orienting the beam directly down. This assures maximum echo returns to the transducer and more accurate depth readings.

The Airmar SS175C-12-L 12d Tilt Low CHIRP with Humminbird 14-Pin (part number SS175C-12-L-14HB) is a thru-hull transducer designed for marine applications requiring deep water depth and temperature sensing. It features a 1 kW low-frequency CHIRP band, operating from 40 kHz to 60 kHz, capable of reaching depths up to 762 meters (2500 feet). The unit incorporates a 12-degree tilted ceramic element within a stainless steel housing, which corrects for hull deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees, ensuring the beam is oriented directly downwards for accurate readings. This design makes it suitable for stepped, planing, or displacement hulls made of fiberglass, wood, or metal. It is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) and includes Xducer ID technology. The SS175C-12-L provides a 32 to 21-degree beamwidth, offering good resolution at speed when properly installed.
The stainless steel housing is suitable for use on stepped, planing, or displacement hulls made of fiberglass, wood, or metal. It is designed for hulls with a deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees.
