Airmar SS175C-12-H 12d Tilt
High CHIRP with No Connector
Model: SS175C-12-H-0Airmar’s low profile Chirp-ready transducer models are the perfect addition to smaller boats such as center consoles. The High frequency band delivers a narrow beamwidth, excellent for pinpointing fish holding tight to wrecks, reefs and other structures. High frequency also delivers amazing target separation on baitfish and schooling gamefish. The SS175H delivers up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth in just one installation, and provides superior shallow water performance and bottom detail.
Tilted element transducers have the element fixed at either a 20°, 12° or 0° angle within the transducer housing. Because the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, when the transducer is installed the tilt corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element horizontally to assure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

The Airmar SS175C-12-H is a 1 kW high-frequency CHIRP transducer designed for marine depth and water temperature sensing. It operates within a frequency range of 130 kHz to 210 kHz, offering an 80 kHz total bandwidth. This transducer is suitable for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) in length, particularly smaller vessels like center consoles, where its low-profile design is beneficial. The 12-degree tilted element corrects for hull deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees, ensuring optimal echo returns by orienting the ceramic element horizontally. The stainless steel housing is compatible with all hull types. This unit, part number SS175C-12-H-0, provides a maximum depth of 304 meters (1000 feet) and is engineered for superior shallow water performance, enhanced bottom detail, and improved fish target separation.
This transducer is designed for hulls with a deadrise between 8 and 15 degrees. The 12-degree tilted element within the housing corrects for this range.
The Airmar SS175C-12-H has a maximum depth capability of 304 meters (1000 feet) when paired with a 1 kW system.
The product includes the Airmar SS175C-12-H transducer with a stainless steel housing, featuring a depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor. It comes with no connector, and has one internal ceramic assembly.
The high-frequency band (130 kHz to 210 kHz) provides a narrow beamwidth, which is beneficial for pinpointing fish near structures and achieving excellent target separation for baitfish and schooling gamefish. It also delivers superior shallow water performance and bottom detail.
